“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
When I made this I was thinking about our time here on earth, and how we can age gracefully. I used to be afraid of getting old, but now I know we aren’t promised tomorrow, and each day is a gift.
When you look at this painting in your home, I hope it reminds you to slow down and be grateful for the days we are given.
Original piece by artist Rachel Kennedy created through layers of earthy texture, mineral tones and subtle traces of colour, speaking to the seasons we move through and the wisdom gathered as we age.
