A study in stillness, texture and contrast. This painting is for minimalist lovers, and inspired by Wabi Sabi, a Japanese philosophy where there is beauty in imperfection, simplicity and the passage of time.
This has been handmade and built up over several months layer by layer with clay, chalk and natural elements from the ground.
I hope whoever connects with this painting takes time in the evenings to be present with your loved ones.
